"Candyman" is the third single from Christina Aguilera's third album Back to Basics. One of the tracks from the album's second disc, it was written by Aguilera and Linda Perry.



The video was filmed on January 28, 2007. The video is a 1940s war theme; Aguilera rented out an airport. It was directed by Matthew Rolston and co-directed by Christina Aguilera. In the video, Aguilera appears dancing and singing in three different hair colors: redhead, blonde and brunette, which appears to be a tribute to the Andrews Sisters. Judy Garland [her swing dance sequence in Strike Up the Band is paralleled], and 1940's pin-up queens Betty Grable and Rita Hayworth are also given their fair share of respect. The video reached No.1 on the TRL countdown on its third and sixth day.
